This serial-to-Ethernet adapter plugs into SK-ACP. Not used with SK-ACPE.

Secura Key’s Network Modules allow the SK-ACP to easily connect to your Local Area Network, so that you can use your existing network infrastructure to monitor and control your access control system. The SK-LAN-MOD for 10/100 Base-T Ethernet connections plugs directly into the SK-ACP panel (Revision N or later) and receives power from the panel, eliminating the requirement for an additional external power supply.

To enable access to a local network, the modules integrate a fully developed TCP/IP network stack and operating system. The module can be configured remotely over the network. The wired module can be automatically located and set up by SK-NET Version 4.0 or higher. The wireless module can be located using the software provided with your wireless router. Both modules use the Transmission Control Protocol to assure that no data is lost or duplicated and that everything sent arrives correctly at the target.
