DB-9 Female RS-232 to RS-422/485 Converter w/ Power Supply
The NET-CONVP Female Converter is a RS-232/RS-485 Converter is specially designed and engineered by Secura Key for connecting a PC to a Secura Key Single Twisted Pair RS-485 reader network connecting one or more SK-ACP panels or 28SA-Plus access control units. Safely plug this converter directly into the PC using the DB-9 male COM port connector. It features protection against damage from voltage spikes and transients by coupling the input lines through an optical isolator eliminating a direct wire path from the reader to the network.
Required when computer is more than 100ft away from SK-ACPE, SK-MRCP or 28SA+.
*Note: If COM Port is a DB-25, a standard 9-Pin to 25-Pin adapter can be used.
